Heritage is my small, personal collection of preloved designer handbags. After years as a shoe buyer at Nordstrom, I learned to read leather the way other people read books — the grain, the stitching, the way a great bag ages. Now I hunt down the icons, vet them carefully, and only list pieces I genuinely love. Every bag here has passed through my hands before it reaches yours.
How I work.
- 01I source
I find bags through estate sales, longtime collectors, resale contacts I've built over the years, and the occasional lucky tip from a friend. I'm picky — most pieces don't make the cut.
- 02I authenticate
Every bag is checked carefully — hardware, stitching, leather, date codes, serials. If I'm not 100% sure, I send it to a third-party authenticator. Nothing gets listed unless I'd carry it myself.
- 03I clean & document
Light, careful cleaning — I never over-restore. Then I photograph each bag honestly, write its real story, and note every mark so you know exactly what you're getting.
